The mushroom: a typical mountain product, and one whose search may serve as an excellent incentive for a walk through the woods; from Boletus edulis and Cantharellus cibarius to Russula emetica and Amanita muscaria, the area of Ponte di Legno offers a great diversity of species, edible and not.
(...but some are only edible once)
To recognise them take part in one of the mycological excursion with an expert; should you still have doubts, bring your harvest to the mycological unit, where they will be identified for you. Good hunting!
